MTB Enduro Explorer Mountain Lodge Rallye – Back to the roots of biking

No luggage service, no fancy bars, no Aperol, no smartphone nights. Just one bike, one backpack and five overnight stays in beautifully located mountain lodges/Malgas. For seven days, we’ll be riding stunning downhill trails in a breathtaking mountain scenery in the heart of the main ridge of the Alps. Between the Stelvio Pass and Lake Garda there are dozens of lonely passages and single trails and it is unlikely to meet other bikers there. During this week, you will extensively explore the untouched parts of this area. We deliberately choose lonely trails and long, exhausting uphill rides, in order to use all of our senses to enjoy this fascinating alpine playground. Going uphill, we will have enough time to absorb all those wonderful subtle impressions. The downhill runs offer everything we love. Some trails are technical in high alpine terrain, some are pure fun. During the week, we will get to know the nature and people surrounding us. There is nothing better than completing a beautiful biking day with watching the sunset in silence and counting the stars sitting in front of the mountain lodge and holding a glass of red wine. This is all we need for an unforgettable week!

Keep it simple! It’s the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary!

Approx. 13,000 metres downhill                        Approx. 9,000 metres uphill

We ride in small groups (maximum 7 participants) to create perfect biking days for you. We will be accompanied by a shuttle car at all times, which will pick us up time and again to bridge annoying flat sections, able to take us higher than other vehicles and transport your luggage for you.

  • 8 tour days
  • 7 days of guiding with Eric
  • 4 overnight stays with half-board in a local mountain lodge/Malga (multi-bed rooms)
  • 2 overnight stays with great breakfast in a local mountain lodge/Malga (multi-bed rooms)
  • 1 overnight stay with great local breakfast in a ***hotel (double rooms)
  • Small groups (maximum 7 participants)
  • Inclusive of all costs for lifts and 1 external shuttle
  • Transfer back to starting point
  • Fine engraved USB-stick with pictures of the tour
  • Triple 2 STOD freeride shirt (optional, for an extra charge)

At first sight, the distances might not seem a lot. However, the days will be long and exhausting. We will often be between 2,000 and 3,000 metres above sea level and the air is going to be thin the further we ride uphill. You ought to be aware of the fact that you will need to be totally focused on the trails when riding down. This will be super exhausting for your body and mind! So please be prepared!

Having arrived individually, we’ll meet at our meeting point in Prad at 5.00 pm. A shuttle car will take us to the Stelvio Pass where we will spend the night in the beautifully located „Tibethütte“ (Alpine Guest House Tibet Hut).

Days 2-8:

We are purposely not giving away the details of the route of this tour. At the moment, no other guiding company offers this tour, because one has to explore the whole area before beeing able to guide here. We worked really hard to prepare this camp for you. If you are passionate about mountain biking and nature, and have some pioneering spirit, you would simplylove this camp. You will definitively experience tremendous impressions of the unique landscape and trails. You will break new ground in a region you thought you knew already!

  1. Approx. 13,000 metres downhill/ Approx. 9,000 metres uphill

Day 9:

After a nice and cosy breakfast we will be taken back to the starting point by an external shuttle car, followed by a well-deserved closing off-session. From here, everyone departs individually.

This offer is subject to changes, as we have not completed our exploring. New tours and opportunities might come up, which we would then integrate in the tour to optimise this trip for you.

One more thing:
This tour is challenging when it comes to your riding techniques and physical fitness! You ought to have experience with challenging trails and different kinds of soil – this is a prerequisite! Few parts of this tour are exposed and will be signalled by the guide early on. You need good stamina and a certain drive to ride, push and carry your bike about 1,500 metres up in one go. We assume that you control your bike safely and use equipment of high quality.
